Healthy Breakfast Waffles

Light, fluffy, and delicious! These healthy breakfast waffles are always a hit for breakfast in our house. We make them with healthy ingredients, super simple, and fast to make. 

You will need 

  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup greek yogurt
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • 50 ml milk  
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
 These ingredients make around 10 waffles

Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients; whole wheat flour and baking powder. In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients; milk, eggs, yogurt, and vanilla extract. 
  2. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir with a big spoon until combined.  
  3. Preheat your waffle iron. 
  4. Pour the batter onto the heated waffle iron. Once the waffle is golden, transfer it to a cooling rack. Repeat this with the remaining batter. 
  5. Serve the waffles with agave syrup and fruit, or any other toppings that you like.
