We LOVE Brussels!! We spend most of our free time there. It is a great place to make some beautiful pictures. Beautiful landmarks, comic book murals, amazing architecture, the possibilities for a beautiful picture in Brussels are endless. 

In this post, you will find the most instagrammable spots in Brussels. 

Passerelle Tondo

Passerelle Tondo is a footbridge in the center of Brussels that connects the offices of the Chamber of Representatives. It is shaped like a ring and tucked between the facades of two buildings.

The Palace of Justice 

The Palace of Justice is one of the most famous buildings in Brussels. It was built between 1866 and 1883. This place is very impressive! 

Especially the stairs of the Palace of Justice are great for pictures. 

The Palace of Justice is only open on Mondays from 8 am – 5 pm and the entrance is free.

Basilica of the Sacred Heart 

This Basilica is the 5th biggest basilica in the whole world. Known for its beautiful Art Déco style and the view it offers from the top. 
 
The Basilica is open daily from 8 am – 6 pm during summer and from 8 am – 5 pm during winter and the entrance is free. 

The Panorama is open from 9 am – 5.30 pm during summer and from 10 am – 4 pm during winter and the entrance fee is 8 euros per person.

Vaux Hall

Hidden in the Parc of Brussels, the Vaux-Hall is one of the strangest buildings in Brussels. Constructed in 1783 and abandoned for many years, the green wooden structure has now been carefully restored.

Villa Empain

Villa Empain is a masterpiece of Art Déco built in the 1930s a little outside the city center. The facade itself is a treat for the eye, but the inside and the garden of the place are straight out of a movie. 

Villa Empain is open from Tuesday – Sunday from 11 am – 6 pm and the entrance fee is 10 euros per person.

Cité Hellemans

Cité Hellemans is an architectural complex designed in an Art Nouveau style. Hellemans blocks are used as social hostels for a large number of families. 

It is nice to walk around and admire the architecture but keep in mind that there are people living there so be respectful.

Goupil Le Fol

Goupil Le Fol is a unique bar with hidden rooms everywhere. There is so much to discover here; the walls are full of pictures and memorabilia.

We recommend you try one of their fruity wines and chill on the old cozy couches.

The Royal Greenhouses of Laeken

Once a year, during Spring, the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken open their doors to the public for only 3 weeks. It’s a unique opportunity to discover beautiful architecture and an amazing plant collection.

Streetart 

When you walk around Brussels you will find a lot of murals. Our favorite one is the Manneken Peace. It is only a few steps from Mannenken Pis.

Rue de la Cigogne

 Rue de la Cigogne is a cute street in the city center of Brussels. It is a refreshing oasis in the heart of the capital. 

The best time to pass by the Rue de la Cigogne is between April and June. Wisteria takes over the street and adds a touch of magic.

Rue Porselein

A hidden gem in the commune of Anderlecht is called Rue Porselein. It is a little street fu with colorful houses. The best time to take pictures is during spring.

Pannenhuis Metro Station

Pannenhuis is a Brussels metro station on line 6. It is located in Laeken, in the northwest of the city of Brussels. 

This is one of our favorite metro stops. It looks futuristic, we love it!
