The Best Eiffel Tower Photo Spots

There is nothing more iconic than the Eiffel Tower! We love how the Eiffel Tower can pop up between streets, offering the prettiest views when walking around Paris.

In this post, you will find the best Eiffel Tower photo spots.

Trocadéro Square

This is the most crowded place on this list, but it is the ultimate spot to get the best photos of the Eiffel Tower. We recommend coming here at different times of the day to have different types of lighting in your photos.

The best time to take photos would be during sunrise, as the sun comes up from the perfect angle. Sunrise is the least crowded time of the day.

Pont D’léna

For a classic photo location, almost right under the Eiffel Tower, Pont D’léna is a great photo spot. This is the bridge that takes you to the Eiffel Tower from Trocadéro. You can head out into the middle of the road, or take photos of the Eiffel Tower from the sides of the bridge. There are many different angles to experiment with.

This is also a great spot to take photos of the Eiffel Tower at night.

Avenue de Camoëns

Avenue de Camoëns is one of the most popular photo locations of the Eiffel Tower but is also one of the most beautiful. The dead-end street is a quiet street flanked by mid-century Parisian buildings and at its end, a classic, stone balustrade and staircase heading down the street below.

We recommend you go right after sunrise.

Rue de L’Université

You can find this cute little street right next to the Eiffel Tower. From here you can take some incredible photos of the Eiffel Tower with a cobblestoned street and typical Parisian houses.

Avenue Rapp

Avenue Rapp offers beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower. This is a lesser-known place, you won’t find many people taking photos here.

Galeries Lafayette

One of the best spots in Paris for photos of the Eiffel Tower is the rooftop terrace at Galeries Lafayette. The terrace is located atop the iconic Parisian department store and offers breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower and other famous landmarks in Paris.

Pont Alexandre III

Pont Alexandre III is one of the most beautiful Parisian bridges and a good location for stunning photos. This picturesque bridge offers the perfect angle to capture Paris’s most famous landmark in all its glory.

Rue Saint-Dominique

Rue St. Dominique is a residential street that offers the most incredible view of the Eiffel Tower. The best viewing spot is on Rue St. Dominique and Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg, however, you’ll catch a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower throughout the whole street.

Pont de Bir-Hakeim

The Bir-Hakeim bridge, famous from the movie Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio has one of the most spectacular views overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The uniqueness of this Eiffel Tower spot is the fact that the bridge itself is beautiful and can make for a cool backdrop for your Paris pictures.

Pont de Bir-Hakeim is our favorite Eiffel Tower photo spot!

Centre Pompidou

Centre Pompidou is a world-class contemporary art museum. Not many visitors know that it is also a great spot to view the Eiffel Tower, as the building is slightly higher than its surroundings. This museum features an outdoor escalator surrounded by glass, offering a beautiful panoramic view.

On the 5th floor, you can find an outdoor balcony.

Passerelle Debilly

This pedestrian bridge is the perfect spot if you want to take Eiffel Tower pictures with the Seine River in them.
