Vegan Brownies

Who doesn’t love chocolate? Growing up we used to love brownies. But it’s so unhealthy and contains too much fat and sugars. We decided to make an alternative version of it. The secret ingredient is black beans, and I’m sure you’re thinking WHAT?! But trust us, these brownies are delicious and easy to make.

You will need 

  • 1 can of black beans (2 1/2 cup) drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups oats 
  • 1/2 cup of cacao powder 
  • 1/2 cup of stevia
  • 1 tablespoon of ground flax seeds 
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract 
  • 1 cup of hazelnut milk 
  • 1/2  cup dark chocolate chips ( topping) 
These ingredients are for 12 servings 

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven; 180° celsius.
  2. Add all the ingredients besides the chocolate flakes in a blender or food processor and blend till smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into an oven tin.
  4. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes.
  6. Let the brownies cool for 30 minutes before slicing. 

We love to eat  these brownies with fresh berries
